Repair Assurance Plus

Be sure to drive safely with the Repair Assurance Plus warranty. It covers parts and labour for 18 months or 29,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

Covered services and repairs are:

• Air conditioning, heating and climate control systems
• Engine cooling system(s)
• Engine performance or drivability services and repair
• Emission control system(s)
• Fuel system(s)
• Electronic engine management system and other on-board computer systems (engine, body, brake and suspension computers), cruise control systems
• Brakes
• Starting and charging systems
• Electrical system(s)
• Exhaust system(s)
• Ignition system(s)
• Steering/suspension systems, wheel bearings, CV joints, half-shafts and driveshafts
• Other minor repairs

In case of a car failure occurring outside the 40km radius from The Specialist garage where the repair was performed, you may be entitled to certain extra benefits with this warranty!

• In the event of a car failure where the customer is unable to get to the garage where the warranted car service was performed and a towing service is needed, we will cover the towing costs for up to $50, depending on the situation.
• If auto parts need to be ordered or the auto repairs simply takes more time, we will cover the car rental fees for up to one day for a maximum of $30 per day.

Limited Lifetime Warranty On Parts Installed (Extended Warranty)

Mechanic garages across The Specialist network offer the limited lifetime warranty for free on certain parts installed on your car. This warranty is even honoured across the entire The Specialist network for as long as you own the car!

Coverage includes parts replaced due to manufacturer’s defect or normal wear and tear.

Auto parts covered by this limited lifetime warranty:

• Brakes
• Shocks
• Mufflers
• Steering parts
